He wasn't a doctor. He wasn't a nutritionist.
Just another bloke who'd been exactly where I was.
He looked at me one day and said...
"You're trying to keep topping yourself up. But what if the problem is your body can't hold a charge anymore?"
I laughed. But later that night... I couldn't stop thinking about it. Because that's exactly how it felt.
Like an old phone battery. You plug it in. It charges.
But by lunchtime it's already down to thirty percent.
Coffee had become my charger.Without it...
I wasn't functioning. The scary part? It wasn't giving me energy anymore.
It was simply helping me survive the day. That's when something clicked.
For months I'd been treating symptoms.
I'd never stopped to ask...
Why did my body need two or three coffees before lunch just to feel normal?
So I stopped searching for another quick fix.
And started looking for the actual reason.
